More safety stuff

Sorry. Very unwise to download attachments from people you don't know well. I'll pass. Provide a link to a web site and I might consider it.

Richard, if you have nothing to contribute, then don't.

Eric isn't exactly an untrustworthy source.

And why would a link to download something be safer than providing it as an attachment? That makes NO sense.

Obviously, he prefers to read the matter on line rather than download it. Go study for your ceremony on Wednesday and stop wasting your time here on this forum.

Of all the people on this site who try to help, Eric does a great job. What is wrong with an attachment?

Downloading allows you to creat your own Word documents for you to look at when you have time.

Great idea..! Keep up the good work Eric..!

Actually, there is a wiki site for collaboration on this...I just haven't brought it up to speed yet. I hope to "re-announce that soon. I do understand the reluctance to download files, so I'n the meantime I'm going to post them on my website as well. But, everyone, feel free to edit, append, amend and tweak the word documents. And thanks to all of you who helped on the original outline.

Chapter Two will be "The Dead Hams Society." I want to compile stories of radio pioneers, and give a comprehensive history of how ham radio got where it is. This is a crucial chapter, since it really sets the tone for the whole book. I want to have a lot of old photos of ham shacks, too.

I've studied already.

The citizenship "test" is ridiculously easy. Easier than the technician exam, even.

A pool of 100 questions and they ask you 10. You need to get 6 right.

Questions like "who is the President" and "how many members of the house" are what they ask.

There's LOTS more. I am posting each chapter for comments. And "Oh NO, not again!" is not a comment!
