View Full Version : Biden Goes On Fox, Gets GOP Foot-n-Mouth Disease
Quote[/b] ]Lest I be accused of never bashing Democrats for silly misstatements (the way I am wont to do whenever Bush says something hilarious), I must point out a gaffe that Joe Biden made that I'm astonished nobody else seems to have noticed. He was talking on Fox News Sunday about Iraq, and about what the rest of the world would think if we pulled our troops out, and said the following:
"I think everyone [the rest of the world] would say they [the U.S.] finally started to come to their senses. They steinally farted to figure out the only way this is going to work is with three regions in [Iraq] that are loosely federated."
At least nobody died in this mis-statement, but WTF??
Must be something in the drinking water at Fox? Maybe he got the Kool-aid by accident?
Joe Biden just earned my respect.
At least he has the guts to go on Fox and take the tough questions, as opposed to "Duck and Jive" Shrillary.

Biden is a good man. His health care proposals are pretty modest, but they'd at least be a step in the right direction - his focus is on reducing the costs of medical care, and getting the explosion of cost increases under control. I think his plan for Iraq makes a lot of sense - partitioning it into three autonomous regions - a plan supported by several of the Republican candidates, too. He is probably the most moderate moderate in the race.
Now, I don't know which Stein he was talking about, and I never knew that Steinally was a descriptor, either adverb or adjective. If he was referring to Gertrude Stein, this may have been another reference to Oakland, California ("There is no there, there").

If Biden said it, it was most likely was plagiarized.
Bully for Biden. A little thoughtfulness in the nation's leadership is good to see.

Of all the Demokrat sausages on display so far in this sorry salmagundi, only Joe Biden has made a display of simple honesty and decency. I never thought I would see the day when I could forthrightly consider awarding him my eventual vote, I am now giving that very possibility much serious thought.
The man has flaws. We all have flaws. Any election is a matter of seeking to choose among the flaws of least damaging import. Biden may be trailing in the polls, but he is way out in front in terms of honesty, decency and guts. Of all the offal in the race, only McCain has matched Biden's simple candor.

Hmm that is something to consider plenty of time left for anyone to re-register in that party. I don't believe there is a Republican who can win in 08, they all stink...
Anyone who sees nothing in the R party worth voting for should consider this option. No big deal if Hillary still wins in the primaries you can always vote R in the elections... if you are so inclined.

I sent it two weeks or more ago, to the address on the QRZ call lookup. Luke hasn't got his either, but Ryan did.
I sent cards (past month) to: WA3YNW, W2AMR, N4GYN, AF8RH, N3BGI, and WD8PAV. Monday, cards going out to WA4PUB, KD8FYD, and W0AMM.
