For the Month of Sept Victor (ZK1CG) will be using "ZK1USA" as his call sign to show support for Sept 11th. from the South Cook Islands. See current picture on qrz.com under ZK1USA
Also 4 YL Hams will be in the South Cook Islands Operating with ZK1XYL, This is the first time South Cooks has seen this many YL's operating in the Cooks at one time. Jim ZK1JD and Victor ZK1CG and Also Tuatai ZK1CY (South Cooks) and ZK1MA (North Cooks Manihiki will Welcome these young YL hams to Rarotonga South Cooks. They will bring along a OM ham to be there Gofer during there stay in the Cooks.Contact Gwen VK3DYL or Elizabeth VE7YL for information
Victor ZK1CG is still looking for some hams to come to the Cooks for the CQWW SSB contest in October to help run a contest station from the South Cooks. If your a fast talker and interested please contact ZK1CG
