Some rather odd stuff from Ebay showed up in a search for Morse code.
I actually had a set of these when I was about 10 years old! I think I got up to about 5 words an HOUR with a neighbor friend! I think it did plant a seed in me though!
Hasbro! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140153199808&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=004)
Morse code is all about beautiful music and love folks!
Ella Mae Morse (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=160152857779&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=006)
and
Morse Code of Love (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260152873430&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=016)
This has gotta be the worst way ever to learn Morse!!
Morse code flash cards! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=110164595539&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=001)
And if all that Morse stuff leaves you out in the cold, Here is the jacket for YOU! Nice color too!! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

The flash cards are kind of cool but that jacket? Woa, needs to go in the trash.

I had a set of 33 1/3 AMECO code records that I learned on. Had the whole set but gave them away after I got my Novice. I should have kept them, they might be worth a couple of dollars now days. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Hello.

True, Morse code is kind of neat, but it is not the only game in town.
http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/watches/6a17/
However, there is code that is sent that is really off the wall.
Prior to the invention of the radio, there was the drum code.
A person would pound out a message.
Later, flags would be used.
The common theme in both systems was that there was 2 elements in place.
Later, when radio hit, and CW became the norm, it was discoverd that a radio could send this very code.
Such a radio will have 2 master oscillators.
The key may be built like a pair of paddles or cut up straight keys.
In any case, depressing the high key will produce a high carrier.
Likewise, depressing the low key will produce a low carrier.
The reason for the pair of LO is that dpressing both keys will produce 2 carriers.
If one is listening to this, no special equipment is needed, just tune the radio and have the BFO turned on.
Most people, even hams, do not understand what they are hearing and simply ignore it.
In order to make it a bit secure, it was common to put in crystals at a bit further apart, perhaps a MHz in military applications.
This ment that 2 receivers were needed but no special training of the operators.

I want the watch, that's pretty cool! Ahh geek stuff #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

You can get it here when it's available:
http://www.tokyoflash.com/en/watches/morse/morse_code/

They even have an mp3 of it sounding the time in morse code.

I do have a Morse Code zippo lighter.. found it on ebay doing a search for Morse Code. I don't even smoke and I had to have it! They pop up every once in so often.

Where are Sam Morse's lawyers with all this copyright infringement?

When I was a kid, there were a lot of toys with morse code capability. Toy ht's all had a code button and the morse code printed on the case. Just about every flashlight had the button on the on off switch for sending code and we had a carrier current intercom system from Lafayette that had the code printed on the case, (you would use the "call" button).
