Just won a 35Mhz Tectronics Dual Trace scope and wondering it will work fine for doing work on build qrp kits, and older HF equipment?

A lot depends on the bandwidth, but it will do a lot. Read the handbook, go to Paul Harden's website ( Think He's NA5N) Or check QRPARCI or aMERICAN qrP) website) for what you can do and how to do it ...
There's also a TEK socpes website that may help.
If you go to the Iowa Qrp Club website, there's a link to a bunch of scope websites.
At a minimum, you'll be able to measure RF volts, see if your osculators are osculating, see your keying wave forms (ala QST), check if you're flattoping on SSB (nobody cares about that any more, except us OF's that HATE splatte)r.
You got as real cool tool there, Dude. I started out with a 1.8 Mc scope, and worked my way up to 275 Mc Scope. But sounds like a good deal - go play with it.
Btw, the Handbook, IMHO, is NOT a good place to learn about 'Scopes.
But yep, it will work fine wirh QRP rigs, etc, as long as you have a clue what you're doing, so treat it gently and learn what the readings mean, and you'll do OK http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
