Congratulations! I hope you manage to get out of the shack once in a while, though. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Thanks,

Yes I won't be sitting here 24/7. I have enough things to keep busy with so I will be out on some project almost everyday too.

Hey Frank-
Congratulations on getting new tires! My wife did that about a year ago, my office is in the house, but our marriage has survived. But let me suggest you point your web browser AWAY from ZED! and try using it for PSK, RTTY - even Hell! You really need to break in those new tires for a while first!

Best of luck, and enjoy it while you can!

Congratulations Frank, I hope to be retired in just a few more months so I'll be looking to work you on the air.

John.

You'll find you have more to do now you're retired, everything starts to fall to pieces because its old, and it takes you twice as long to do anything anyway !

Congratulations. Sad fact is I wish I could go back to work.

Enjoy it though, it is what you make it.

Well, Frank, Congratulations!!! WhooHoo!!!!! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Time to kick back and enjoy life!!

It may get boring, but now as boring as working till you're dead, as my Uncle did. He is in a better place now...but I'm sad and disappointed that he didn't get to kick back more. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

So, I guess you may have some plans??? Motorcycling across the USA? Wakeboarding in the Pacific?? Bronzing your body with some Latin cutie on the beach in Cabo???

Good times!!! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Congratulations again!

Cheers! 73 http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Congratulations, Frankie.

I hope you still find time to do radio stuff now that you are retired. You are likely to find, as I did, that you may be even busier now than you were before retiring.

The big consolation is that you might be able to control your priorities and your schedule a bit better and more advantageously than before. But once everyone finds out you've "retired," they will take pity on you and find things for you to do so you will not become bored. If you could not say NO! before, you will learn how to now!

GL. Have lots of fun.

I am posting this from Wrightsville Beach, NC, where I am at present "enjoying" an enforced "vacation" along the strand.
