Buddy of mine built one,
works fine, nice unit,lotta bang for the buck.once you use it for a swept VSWR measurment, you will never want to do it any other way!.

Swept VSWR? I didnt know you could do such a thing! Yeah, that would do it too! Sweeping an entire band and looking at the reflected wave! wow! you could also take the output to a charter and build a response chart too!
