Don't you just wish that the Iraqi's took as great an interest in fighting for the freedom as they do winning at soccer.? They shoot celebratory shots into the air after a victory in sports. But, they won't get out and fight the folks that took the sport away from them so many yrs ago under Saddam Hussien.
I applaude the Iraqis, on winning But, when it comes to taking responsibilty for their future and the future of the middle east they are big losers there.
For if they don't They may find the same type of iron fist ruling Baghdad, that had for years and being forced into submission and ruled once again by the Taliban. and then, Will the Victory be half as sweet when you have the Soccer fields turned back into military training grounds.? And, Whomever, the next dictator will be in Iraq, there are many prepared to let the air out of the sports victories.
