Even some radio propagation alteration? Somehow that was left out of the equation when this early aspect of the global warming debate started. "Chemtrails" as a government and military conspiracy was my first chuckle in the three ring circus of scientific and political juggling of "facts" and it still is an endless source of amusement.

Actually this was sent to me from a friend who doesn't follow all of this that regularly, and on a more serious note.
The woman who wrote these articles seems to be a Christian, and from NC as well, where I live. I'm more of a free thinker and do not associate with a particular religion. But I did feel that coming from this person's perspective as well as a doctor would seem to make it more legit in its presentation.
I have seen these trails all the time and have a friend who does a lot of sky photography showing these.
I do have another buddy who does take these things more seriously, and has sent me links & info over the years, but I like to stand on the sidelines and evaluate the info, rather than give any conspiracy theory any blanket face value.
This is the first new info on the subject that I've actually taken the time to read in at least 3-4 years.
That's why I just posted the links and did not say anything either way, whether I agreed or disagreed.
But I do feel something is going on regarding this phenomenon in general, and hopefully if it is something damaging to weather, health, etc., it should be looked at more closely, or at least pique some interest.
I'm generally too apathetic at my age, not because of my age (53), but I feel generally things are going south faster than we can fix them, and I don't hope for a bright future unless things really begin to turn around. And I sure don't trust the government. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I've been reading about the "chemtrails" phenomenon for quite some time. For all the hype and so called "evidence" I have yet to see anything tangible to indicate these so called "chemtrails" are anything other than what they are, contrails otherwise known as vapour trails. They are nothing more than water vapour from the engine exhausts... ice crystals or water droplets.
Nonethless, I still find the chemtrail websites amusing. It's tinfoil hat stuff but it's good tinfoil hat stuff. Makes for fun reading before bedtime.

It's a kook theory, no matter WHO the kook is promoting it. See my sigline.
It is simply water vapor - if you want to learn the physics behind contrails, it isn't that hard. But spending time on kook websites - or on sites where people simply tell you their "feelings" is a waste of time, unless you are reading for entertainment.
Contrails haven't changed in 45 years - I remember sitting on the hill behind our house in the late 60's and early 70's; and watching the clouds float by thinking about science and ham radio as a teen. It was fun to watch the trail form thru binoculars. (Boy those were the days - I should lay on the ground and stare up at the sky today - maybe I'd have the Blood Pressure I had back then...)
Watch any old TV show or movie - you'll see the same trails in the sky we do now.
Nothing has changed, 'cept now we have the internet - which gives an effective voice to every nut and obsessive writer out there.
The REAL conspiracies, the real attempts to divert your attention and control your thoughts come out of Hollywood. But they make no secret of what they are trying to do - they admit to it at every award show they throw for themselves.
