For those of you who don't know my call sign is now K0DXC. it has however not been updated on QRZ yet though. I guess I'm just happy to have my new call. And if any mods read this please update my new call in the database.

when you can take the so-239 from my hand , it will be time for you to go...
You are not worthy, OM.
You have to be able to do CW at 100000 WPM and build a complete station with nothing but raw silicon, copper and steel.
Then, maybe then, you'll be worthy.

They can change it for you, as they did for me. K7FE did mine for me.
But it happens weekly anyway, automatically, and you'll find that if they do it now, you'll just have to go in and clean up your profile again because your bio will have disappeared.

1x3 calls have not been available for sequential issue for over 10 years. Therefore it, by default, must be a vanity.
Note also that upgrading from Technician to General does not change call sign eligibility as both of these groups qualify for 1x3 calls automatically.
Today, any new licensee who enters at either the Technician or General level receives a 2x3 simply because there are no sequential 1x3s available.

Congratulations on your new call. I don't question your age and working CW. I was first licensed at age 13 and all I operated was CW. Those other modes hadn't been invented yet. I am soooooooooo old.
And I agree, N2RJ was yanking your chain. His reference to 100000 wpm simply proves that.

Speaking of pulling legs, two such legs have been pulled, and were found in irrigation ditches near here, in the past week. Neither had a body attached, but one did have a false knee. It is assumed someone also 'pulled the body' but they haven't found it yet. (Or perhaps, as the puppy said when he laid his tail across the railroad track, 'It won't be long now.")
DXC, don't let them old timers mess with your mental matter. Young folks like you and me can do as we darned well please. I think I am assuming by the "X" in the call, that you did not get your initials.
