got a fridg at the other end of bench 2 #and a microwave/convexion oven under bench 2 also.
getting all set for many hours on the benches and shack operating.
did I mention that all this is in my bed room.
I eat, sleep, drink, play, and work in there.
That "worlds smallest CW Oscillator" is getting down to the size of the stuff I used to work on. You might want to put a dime in a picture next to that device, so some of the "Newbies" can appreciate what you've done there. ( Maybe even some of the OTs that have never looked at 0603 sized components ! )
Nice work! 73, Jim

it might get lost on a dime.
right that picture was taked before I trimmed down the edges of the pc board, it measures 8mm X 8 mm and has enough volume to fill a class room.
I did that just to see if I could make it smaller than the one on the web.

Is that an MFJ 969 Tuner? What do you feed it with and how well does it work for you?

yes it is, and it works very well with a large G5rv on 160 through 6 meters, but not on 30 meters.
I am usally on 80 and 40.
it was given to me free as it was involved in a lighting hit. but was not a direct hit.
I repaired it and have been using it for over 3 years now, and I am very happy with it.
there is still a burnt spot on the side of the 857. I had to send it to yeasu to get it fixed, been working great sence, it was also in the same hit. and also was given to me.

Nice pictures, dmx.
I think there should be a forum for personal stuff, photos and "brag book" links, etc., there haven't been enough pictures around.
Then they'd be easier to find, and you could update the thread when you got something new or wanted to show your work on a pet project.
