2007 is the centenary year of the Scout Movement. The World Scout Jamboree takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex, England between 27th July and 8th August. Amateur Radio has featured at World Jamborees since 1957. This year an International team of 40 scout radio amateurs will activate GB100J. It is planned to operate around the clock with up to 4 stations on various HF bands depending on propagation. Look for GB100J around the usual published scout frequencies.
