Oh darn, I thought the DXpedition was going to be on the Jersey shore, New Jersey that is. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Jersey working Jersey? Why not? I'm IOTA NA111.
Welcome to the Jersey Shore, now go home but leave your money with us.
Tell them to watch out for the lime green rivers that glow in the night and melt unwary birds that land in them.
New Jersey can be a savage wilderness to the novice.

Good luck Iain and Chloe, I hope to be down in Jersey in November, however I will be using slightly higher power probably! Not sure on what aerials I will be using but there we go.
I doubt I'll catch you on the air, I have been fairly lax in getting on the air for a bit.

Will be using at least one FT-817 and I've got 3 antennas in my bag ready, an 88' doublet, an ATX walkabout and mast and a homebrew portable full size quarter wave vertical (not tested yet).
I'll be operating mostly CW I would think, I've never rated my chances with 2.5w of SSB ;-)
The plan originally was to takle my 706 but finding a camp site with power that was affordable was a challenge and there is no power out to the camping site at the YHA :-( Should be fun to play around on batteries though.
