Hi all,
Last year I bought this onan cck generator from a guy to put in my bus conversion RV. He had it in an old RV. The day I bought mine, I had it in the back of the truck and saw one just like it, only it didn't run at a ham fest. The guy had just bought it for $1200.00.
Well, this one worked when i bought it, but I have not fired it up. The manifold is cracked and I never took the time to replace it or have it welded. I had a guy offer to let me have the one off of the same model he has in an old motor-home, but I just have not taken the time to get it.
I have the manuals for it and all the parts I believe are there - most of them are still connected, but there are a couple in a box.
We are a ministry and we need the money for a missions project that is coming up more than we need this generator. So I decided to try and sell it.
I don't even know how much to ask for the thing. The non-working one sold at the ham fest for $1200, so I am thinking I should ask maybe $1500 for this one. But really, I don't know that much about them. I am trusting that if anyone wants it, and they know something about them, that they will be honest and not take advantage of my ignorance. I did find a really junky one on craigslist that was much smaller for a few hundred bucks.
Anyway... you can email us if you are interested:
