This is about Pat Nolan's conversion from gung-ho lawn order to someone who states that our penal system is a disaster...

He found a calling in prison (http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-nolan5jul05,1,5862577.story?coll=la-headlines-california)

What does one's front yard have to do with this?

Methinks you mean law and order, not lawn order.

Sorry, I should have credited, I think, Walt Kelly.

It was Pogo, wasn't it? I tried to google, but didn't get anything. OF syndrome.

You mean his conversion from law abiding citizen to an ex-con? His 'conversion' is hardly surprising.

I would imagine ordering grass on the internet is illegal. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Just in case this is so far back that you really don't know
about "lawn order"...it comes from (I think...it's been so long) Walt Kelly's Pogo comic strip, and refers to Nixon's henchmen who though we needed more "Law 'n Order." But, Walt Kelly being Walt Kelly, and the swamp residents being who they are, always said it as "lawn order."

I have to keep my own lawn in order. Since they put in the new ritzy golf and tennis development about five miles away, prices for services have been going through the roof.

John Deere and I do a reasonably good job, and I save the $150 plus every lawn care appointment would cost me.

Yeah...We need a lawn order....Scott's tough builder...with weed control for those who smoke it!

Are you referring to Laura Norder and spelt her name incorrectly ?
