Wouldn't be to hard to say if they would stop trying to whittle away at the constitution. Very few of the current candidates seem to heading in that direction right now. Some but unfortunately too few hard to give any respect if that continues to be the case in the not so distant future.

My god. All of my views of the current administration condensed into one 5-minute editorial. #Every bit of it so amazingly sad and yet so true. #And after all of the lies being told by the administration, the Republicans, the Democrats, the house, the senate, the pundits and the accumulated media, even this small spring of truth is so very, very refreshing.

Resign NOW, Mr. Bush. #Resign NOW Mr. Cheney.

Resign Now!
What a totally ignorant remark to make !!
It is obvious on which side of the aisle he stands !! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Of course if he can sum up every thing he knows in 5 minutes it would be expected!! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I don't know who this blowhard with the big words is but if Olbermann was paid to make that diatribe some one should demand their money back. What a big Blowhard !!
I bet John Wayne turned over in his grave when this jerk mentioned his name !! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Then again, as Justin Long's character the guru hacker in the film Live Free or Die Hard quips in one scene,
"If I told you half of what I know, your little head would explode!" http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

WB2WIK,
Sorry I did not see the film. I stopped going to movies when the price started elevating and you had to sit in spilled drink and pop corn and the rats ran back and forth across your feet, totally unnoticed by the couple in front or behind you who were debating an entirely different subject.
I simply decided life is too short to be subjecting myself to those wastes of time, then have to PAY for the privilredge!!
http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
Of course now they have added Cell Phones as another incentive !!

I don't know where you've been going to the movies, but our theaters here are new, clean, comfy (with reclining seats) and cool with great sound systems.

Not much better than my living room surround sound system, actually, but still very nice. Yes, too expensive, though.

We go, anyway, as we really like movies. The "good" ones we'll rent again, or even purchase, in DVD format once they're released that way...but this can take from 3 months to 12 months depending how successful the movie is at the box office.

I still like IMAX movies because I cannot reproduce that effect at home! Wish there were more in that format, it's amazing.

How is it ignorant to demand justice? #If Cheney and Bush were to resign now, it would save our nation the turmoil of two impeachments and trials while achieving the same ultimate results. #A highly intelligent request in my estimation.

To move beyond the request for the resignations, I would be happy with negotiated resignations. #One example: it might be agreed to that Cheney & Bush would be replaced by men appointed by the republican members of the house and senate without inteference from other parties or independents. #This would obviate accusations of democrats trying to usurp the presidency.

Claptrap, he takes himself way too seriously. From some of the posts here, I would say others do as well.

This bit of theatre, the Democratic shrill who happened to work for the CIA, the CIA cabal actively seeking to undermine the Presidency, the shrill's husband, a wanker acting so chagrined that his deceptions were exposed for the lies that they were.

The entire, disgusting play resulting in the selective prosecution of an innocent man is the form of government you actually want?

God save the queen, it's too late for the US.

Of course I'm in total agreement with what Mr. Olbermann says.

I'll add this...we had no idea of the slime in RMN's administration, and HE had a modicum of decency. #I'm not sure we're ready to find out what w and dead-eye have done, given their out and out evil actions.

Yes, we need to start serious impeachment proceedings NOW! #

Wonder what Libby was going to reveal if he didn't get a pardon?

Excellent commentary by Keith Olbermann.

No possibility either of these two scumbags will resign though. Neither has that much class. Nixon, the biggest crook to grace the white house, had more class than these two.

Sounds like Obermanic is trying plagiarize Mediocre Matters again. Keithy can't think for himself and when he can't get his way resorts to name calling.

The liberals can keep him. History will record that he was the least influential Cable TV host in the country.

Lowest rated TV host on the lowest rated cable TV network and for good reason: He's a loooooser just like the Cable TV network he works for.

"Keithy" only does one thing well: The Nazi Salute.

This whole thread can be summed up in one word:

<span style='font-size:21pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:red'>*YAWWWN*</span></span>

And THAT'S being generous.

Every president, Republican or Democrat has pardoned someone, who others argued, was done as a political favor. This has not then, nor now, made any President the evil destroyer of democracy. The facts are, every powerful person in history or the future needs to be watched, and watched carefully, because power corrupts...absolutely etc. etc. None are immune or free from it's seductive influence, regardless of their party! If we're not careful, we will all be decieved. #

That could not happen. The Constitution demands that in the event of the President and the Vice President being unable or unfit to perform their duties, the person next in the line of succession would become the new President.

Can you say President Nancy Pelosi? Sure, I knew you could!

That being said, I being a lifelong Republican am growing disgusted with the goings on in the Executive Branch. Sadly, it would take longer than the remainder of Bush's term to go through the formalities of impeaching the President and the Vice-President, and be yet another distraction to the REAL problems this nation is facing.

I agree on the time frame, Richard, but in reference to problems, this administration has a track record for creating problems! I wonder how much more damage they will do in the 562 days remaining in their term?

I think their resignations would be gladly accepted by most.

The titile is a bit deceptive, since Bush was not commented on by John Wayne. Anyway, after having watched this, I see no reason why the Democans will not go ahead and procede with impeachment. What are they waiting for? Except that Bush probably does not see himself as a quitter, I wonder why he don't just resign along with Cheney and give the Democans what they want, or do they. I do not think Hillary wants to run against Pelosi in a primary. It would be an uphill climb. I wonder what is going on in the back office meeting rooms. If the Democans have popular opinion on thier side, why will they not procede with impeachment? Inquiring minds want to know.
