Yep all you gotta have the latest tech geeks, the iphone is idead.
From a not so happy iphone owner
Falling in lust with an expensive device like the iPhone sets owners up for a hard fall if it stops working. I know, because mine died after only four days into our relationship.

Quote[/b] ] At that point I felt a little nauseous, too, four days and the iPhone I spent eight hours in line to buy was a goner.
I guess I’ll be the first to say it. What kind of moron actually stands in line 8 hours to buy a phone, or for that matter a computer, a game, any new product. What has our society become when a consumer is in such lust with a product that they would go to such great lengths to acquire it.
I know one thing for certain they are violating a bunch of the 7 deadly sins.
Vanity, Lust, Envy and Greed.
4 out of 7 not bad. .
...because those people don't have a life?
I bet the same people waited overnight for Windows Vista, too. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I'm still enjoying my Nintendo Wii that I got for $250 versus others who paid close to $1000 for theirs.
The wait was worth it, especially since it's still pretty scarce.

Well that's a good reason to wait in line. Nothing wrong with saving money. I guess the real question would be did you really save any money. 1000-250 = 750 in savings, not bad. I might be tempted to spend 4 or 5 hours in line to save $750. Anything more then 5 hours and I might as well just go back to the office and make the money.
My wife once waited in line for 3 hours for a free Digital video camera. She gave it to me for my birthday. The fact that she was willing to wait in line 3 hours to get me a camera was more heart warming then the actual camera.

Wouldn't do it for an iphone, but for an xbox360, tickle/pull my finger elmo etc etc it did net me the equivalent of 200 bucks an hour when sold on fleabay.
But that was more an hour wait/time in line or searching, not wating before a store opens.

The point for me wasn't saving money. It's actually getting the item for list price, new in an unopened box.
Unless you're wiling to pay ebay scalpers ridiculous amounts of cash, it was impossible to buy a Wii anywhere, for any price.
