Cobra 90 LTD Base Station

Up for sale is a old yet fully functional Cobra 90 LTD 11 meter base station. 40 Channel's AM. These old 90 LTD's were known for great audio clarity and modulation. It has never been modded in anyway. I just pulled it out of the basement and it will be cleaned up before being shipped. Would make a nice addition for a collector or even a functional base station. Make a reasonable offer.

Shakespeare ABS-1600 5/8 wave vertical

Also putting a feeler listing for a 5/8 wave 22 foot Shakespeare ABS-1600. Performs well on 18 to 54 mhz ,on 10 mhz it is resonance is a 1/4 wavelength. This antenna is designed around Shakespeare's military antenna lines. These are extremely hard to find now since they stopped making them, and the new NBS-2010 doesn't compare to the old ABS-1600. Make an offer .... See pics...

Here are some independent reviews from eham.net

N2ETJ says - "Will handle 1500 watts and on 10 meters, has a SWR of under 2 to 1 across the entire band. When the band is open, this plays very well.... remember it is not a yagi, but very close to performance under the right conditions. Mine has been up for several years and shows no signs of breaking down. The fiberglass and stainless fittings still like new . Just sorry they stopped making this but understand their costs began to almost exceed their selling price. They still make a Marine version for 3 times the cost. There is a noticable difference between the others and this one in performance , construction, and durability. Hurry out and buy one ...... great reference antenna and often does as well as my yagi (4 element Hy-Gain Explorer) especially on DX.........."

VE6XL Says - "I had a Shakespeare super bigstick for 15 years and it still worked. I recently purchased the NBS-2010. It works great and the match is slightly better than reported by Shakespeare."
