Why does it seem that more and more posts in the Talk and Opinions portion of the forum seem to be asking advice or technical questions? Wouldn't these posts be better to be posted in the Questions and Answers forum?
At the time I am making this post, there are about 3 or 4 posts that are of a technical nature in the Talk and Opinion forum.
Not meant to be an attack or a troll, I have just noticed this happening and I thought I might bring it to folks attention.

Some topics are a toss up: Whether it's a YES/NO answer, or there is (or should be) discussion of the matter. Q&A seems more suited for a "cut and dried" answer, but the poster may seek a discussion on the pros and cons of a certain item, so it becomes a question of which forum is more appropriate.

I agree with you. Several that are in T&O should be in Q&A. Up to the moderators.
Maybe one reason they aren't moved is they lead toward "opinions" rather than facts. However, many of the threads in Q&A also lead to opinions, so I don't know.
Anyway, you are correct.

It is a "judgement" call by the moderators.
I move posts among the 3 forums that I moderate on a regular basis depending on which one I believe most fits the post.

Ditto, I am always moving posts between forums. However, as I do work full time, and hve been busier than normal with the FD, and am trying to raise a 5 year old, my time here is limited.
