What is the DocumentViewer
The computer is asking me...
The path '1' cannot be found.
Verify that you have access to this location and try agian or try to find the installation package 'DocumentViewer.msi in a folder from which you can install the product DocumentViewer
What is it , how do I get it fixed and how did it happen?

Hi Alan-
You didn't say what OS you're using, but suspect it's some flavor of Windope$. Or what Browser.
Have you got DocumentViewer.msi on your computer ?. Go to Start\Search and see. If you find it, dbl\click on it, and install DocumentViewer. Or do a search for it
If you run DocumentViewer.msi through google, you'll find a ton of stuff on everything from M$ME to VI$ta. Seems to be maybe an issue with HP machines or after you uninstall AOL. Couple of especially good threads on YAHOO.
I'm in Linux right now, but next time I use a windowbox I'll look for it in ExPee. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Hi Robert.
Thanks for the reply. Im using windows xp home edition.
Not sure about the browser dont know anything about that. Is it java?
That was very helpful I found where this DocumentViewer
was from (HP all in one You were right) .Just from the search at start. After playing around searching
on Google how to fix with no real luck I loaded the HP Photo smart disk and clicked Install More Software then
click on Install Recommended. When it finished i had to hit the big switch to reboot. After logging on I followed the prompts which in turn fixed my problem.
Thanks again
Alan...

I imagine it's looking for a PDF viewer. You can download one free from Adobe.

NEA-
In my brief google, I found a number of ways to kill the error message, and if you have DocumentViewer.msi, you can try installing it (Start>control panel>add/remove programs, or some such). Your browser is the program you use to get on the internet, and if you don't know, that probably means you're using Win$ M$ Internet Exploder. Not a real great idea, but you'll live til your machine dies of viruses. I recommend FireFox or Opera (free programs you can download.
I assume (From what I saw on the web) that DocumentViewer is probably NOT Adobe Acrobat, but who knows. Try re-installing your HP software, and Windoze MIGHT behave
But once you make Bill Gate$ and ExPee mad at you ...!http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
Like I hope I said, I'm not a Windope$ geek. I just spend a lot of time beating it into submission, so it knows who the boss is.! There was a lot of good stuff on Google, including a link to M$ support site.
