Never mind the criminal! (http://www.kbsd6.com/Global/story.asp?S=6676594)

Just hand your kids over to the criminal to be raped/murdered etc. It's against the law to protect your family.

This is just what I've been saying over and over. The cops put good people in jail while coddling dangerous criminals. I'm sure the crook is still at large. The big mistake this couple did was call 911. I sure wouldn't. The poor kids are probably being molested in a foster home. Most foster parents molest the kids or otherwise abuse them. It will be many months before they get their kids back. It's too much of a racket.

I'd like to see more details of the case. On the preliminary it does sound quite absurd if the parents side of the story is true.

Hello.

The parents did say that the bedroom was not fit for human habitation.
So, along come the police to find children in this room?
No, I would lock the parents up also.
Get a clue, it is time to move.
If the parents are unable to provide good housing at this time perhaps the state needs to deal with this case.
Once the parents have good housing, let them have the kids.
And, the landlord, lock his tail up also, make the slumlord live in the bedroom.

Sounds like there are two seperate issues here. First is the excaped inmate breaking in and threatening the family, and the second is the conditions of the home that the family's children were exposed to. If these conditions were bad enough ("non-livable" as described in the article) then the kids should be removed from the situation until the parents can rectify the situation.

Did anyone actually confirm that there was a breakin?
Something is missing from this picture.
