Suggest you look for 737A as it has VOX and the 737 doesn't.

There is an external vox available for the 737, an IC-1514. I have one and it works very well.

I have a IC-737A for sale $400.00 plus shipping. Rig is in good shape operationally. Copy of the manual and original hand mic included. Is missing some of the knobs form the front and a piece of the upper face. See picture.
