I've noticed that song lyrics sites tend to be loaded with pop-ups and other junk. I am in the habit now, when Googling the lyrics to a particular song, of adding sites from the results to my "Restricted" zone [which has every privilege disabled] before I will go to them. If I could, I'd just restrict every single site with the words "lyric" or "lyrics" in the domain name, but the wildcards [i.e., *lyric*.*] don't seem to work that way.
