So, now that it seems the Dems are caving on their threat of including surrender with war funding. #What has all this political posturing by the #Dems accomplished? #NOTHING as usual except to embarrass the country again and provide a glimmer of hope for the enemy. #I guess they read the constitution and found out the President is still in charge. #Must really piss them off.
Could this congress be called a lame duck congress? #Maybe, cause they still haven't accomplished anything at home except yadda, yadda, yadda. Give the troops the money idiots.
BTW, what happened to the 100 hours thingy?

First of all, why be an ass and distort things? Nobody is saying a word about surrender except the bitter, war mongering, hate filled neo-conservative idiots in this country. The voters want out of this war, you know, the majority, the ones the decider chump in the white house routinely ignores, and if the spineless dems don't get it done, then shame on them. Their time will be short.
When are you war mongers going to admit that you cannot "win" in Iraq? Christ, you can't even define what a victory is. But yet you are more than willing to send thousands more of our best and brightest to die in the effort to achieve what? You don't freakin' know.
The hard driving neo-conservative war mongering agenda is going to end soon, so you can kiss this war driven economy good bye, and the sooner the better. You neocon ditto-heads who slobber daily over your drug addicted lunatic behind the EIB microphone have no concept of the responsibility of paying for the idiot's war. That's right, the idiot in the white house.
I thought maybe the dems would keep this moron from doing additional damage to this country, but they are just a different form of idiots, much like the decider chump, but possibly even more stupid.
Tell me, just why do we want to continue in Iraq? What is the point? Do you neocons really enjoy watching American soldiers die? Just explain it to me. This war is even more senseless than Vietnam. There is absolutely nothing to gain that is in the interests of this country, unless of course, you are heavily invested in energy stocks.

Boy we're full of it today aren't we. #I have one thing to say. #The Dems control congress, they can end the war NOW. #Why won't they?
Because one thing Americans hate more than fighting a #war, its losing a war and the dems will be responsible if that happens and the dems want to get re-elected. #So, who's the ultimate decider in this and for that matter, who's extending and keeping this war going? #Not Bush, the Dems.

No '2WH, if the decider chump vetoes every bill, there aren't enough votes to override that veto. And that's because of the spineless republicant congresscritters afraid to oppose the chump on anything.
How many dead soldiers are enough? You failed to mention what would constitute a "victory" in this war. Be a stand-up kinda neocon and explain it to all of us, will ya? You might want to clue in the decider chump when you do, because he doesn't know either.
Like I said, enjoy the bloodbath. Dubya is hell bent to continue the show for you.
EDIT: And yes, I'm full of it today because of the cowards who were elected by the voters to get us out of this useless war, and who failed to follow the will of the people. Someone in Washington needs to sit down, read, and understand what the Constitution of this country is about. I seem to remember three key words ... "We, the people ..."
Not in this day and age.

Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel. #Oh, since the cowardly dems are apparently NOT getting us out of the war, will you be voting republican in the next election? #That very same constitution you reference IS the very reason we are still in the war. #It gives the President war powers but, it also gives congress the ability to stop the war via funding cutoffs. #The dems didn't surrender because of or to Bush, they were scared about what was happening to their re-election chances. They were reading the polls.
Since Bush is NOT going to stop the war, congress, the democrat majority must but they will not. #So, can we say the dems lied to get elected? #I think so.

How could the neocons have been so wrong, and so stupid? #Rumsfeld had been around for years, and so had Cheney, and Cheney was a Secretary of Defense. #So how could they have been in such a la-la land that they thought that this iraq War could work?
The only answer I could come up with is that up until the Bush election and then 9/11, they had oversight, they were under supervision. #They had to come up with plans that satisfied superiors. #But after 9/11, nothing was holding them back and saying "Hey, what the heck are you doing?" #As a result, they did what they thought would work, and it was so wrong that we just can't believe it now.
Part of the problem, I think, is that they were totally drunk with power. #Every little thing they said was backed up by every talk show mouthpiece the administration had. #Anybody who spoke against anything they said or did was pilloried. #They started to believe their own BS. #And they pulled us away from the pursuit of bin Laden and had us get Saddam's gun on a plaque for the Decider. #So now Bush has that gun to show off, and we have Iraq to deal with, and Cheney is still trying to tell us that Mohanmmed Atta met with Iraqi Intelligence. #Or he might have. #Or something. #And talking points are still wailing that Wilson lied. #What about... nobody knows. #But supposedly Wilson lied, so it's all Tenet's fault, and meanwhile all of the experience of Cheney and Wolfowitz and Rumsfeld put together could not get them to make sure that our troops had adequate armor when they were rushed into Iraq.
I only wish that Democrats were better. #But they aren't. #People, we need to pay attention to the candidates back at primary time. #That's the only way we have any chance of getting a candidate that is not more of the same.
