Hello.

I have been doing lucid thoughts lately.
What if one is disabled in an accident or attack?
ICE is one answer.

But what if that is not enought?
Death Switch seems to be the next answer.
Kind of like a letter that is to be opened only after somebody dies.

So, what is the answer?
The question, to the final answer, that is life.

All the passwords, important computer files, and my so called last wishes are in an envelope in my safety deposit box. The box rent is a lot cheaper than what those people want to charge for a deathswitch.

Hello.

The trouble is that the OM died a year ago, we have yet to gain access to the safe deposit box.
No will was done, and even that has to be probated to get the bank to release the box.
I go to the probate court, adoption papers in hand, and the court wants the birth documents.
I provide the German documents, they want the biological fathers documents, I provide that, it is in Arabic.
They want documents from Saudi Arabia, Saudi government send me a passport and say that I am a Saudi citizen, it is time to come home.
Most people will never have such trouble, this I grant you.
For me, this is fun.

So, is this the new word that is going to hit Britain in the coming months.
Deathswitch, I can feel an irritation on the way.

It doesn't appeal to me either.

I keep all my personal stuff in a home safe and my kid has the combination in a sealed envelope.

Hello.

Ice? Deathswitch?
Sounds like a TV show along the lines of "The Running Man".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Running_Man_(film)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103239/movieconnections
And, to make this clear, there actually is a "wedlock device".
http://www.komotv.com/news/national/5901066.html
The first such device was built by the US army in the early 60's, but may have been even earlier.
The Soviets may also have had such a device.
This was originally intended as a means of detaining POW's in battlefield conditions.
