Hi I run the South Birmingham Radio Society website www.sbrs.org.uk (http://www.sbrs.org.uk)

I was wondering if anybody had advice on how to obtain corporate sponsorship for the cost of the hosting admitedley it is only £50 a year but it is another £50 the club has to find. The purpose of the website is to promote the club, attract new members, and raise awareness of our presence during contests.

If anbody has any suggestions i would welcome them.

My thought would be to just write (or call) various manufacturers, dealers, magazine publishers, etc saying "would you like to advertise on my page in support of {whatever}, and "oh, by the way, no popups, phishing or spam".

This is not a troll, just a thought.
