KI4EV - Silent Key

It is with a heavy heart and with great sadness, I must report that the imfamous Jimmy Binion, KI4EV, Became a Silent Key as of 9:45a.m. on 6/24/02. Jimmy was one of the "Nice Guys" on 3.898 Khz. although, I never met Jimmy, I was very well aquainted with him via Amateur Radio. I will never forget his Laugh, The Interesting, wonderful stories He would tell, about his younger years here in Detroit. Jimmy was a great guy and I think I can say with the full support of the guys on 3.898, That that Frequency will never, ever be the same without him.

I think I can speak for everyone on 3.898, that Jimmy will be sourly missed on 3.898.
