Exactly who are the Chungs and why do they need a defense fund?

It's all over the news but...
They are being sued for $67 million over a pair of pants. The legal fees are driving them bankrupt.

Oh, that. #I saw it in passing but pretty much blew it off as a typical harassment lawsuit.
It's particularly telling that the plaintiff in this case is a judge and is representing himself. #Pearson (plaintiff) is a disgrace to the legal profession and deserves disbarment as a minimum.
It's also very disheartening that the judge who is hearing the case hasn't summarily thrown it out of court long before now and sanctioned Pearson severely.
This is obvious harassment and malicious abuse of process. #There is no other way to characterize it.
