Update on my Firefox experience...
Except for the time it "forgot" all my bookmarks - and that was a one-time thing - it's been outstanding. It's had no problems whatsoever, and it's usability is well beyond IE 6 or 7. It's downloads are so much faster than IE's, and the username/password memory feature has been a real time-saver (albeit with some worry...just makes me even more compulsively careful about nobody getting physical access to my computer), also the spellchecker far more convenient thatIE's . (Same spellchecker tells me that should be two words. )
So, after a few months I give it an outstanding rating.
It's free, quick and easy to download and install, and appears to be completely benign to my computer. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
