I saw an article describing a cordless phone that plugs into computer or someone on this Board told me about it. Guess it was used for computer telephoney. You can also use it to remote your rig while working around the house. I lost all info when C drive crashed on my computer. It had a two/three letter designator that indicated it was for use with a computer included in the model number.
I have tried searching GOOGLE for computer phones to no avail. Anyone remember this article, or telling me about them? Thought I saw it on QRZ. I have tried searching with DSS,TT,TTL es TL as the designators. I looked them up even. There were several models for sale to choose from. They have an in es out audio that plugs into computer.

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for... but I'm confident it'll do the trick. I use one of these as an interface to my PC's soundcard and can attest to the device's high quality performance. It's a commercial quality unit. The best thing about it is that it allows you to use ANY type of telephone as the interface, be it a corded or a cordless type. I use it with a 2.4 GHz cordless. Standard RJ-11 output, so you can use it on a stand-alone telephone, or feed it as a line into a phone system, or as Line 2 of a two line phone. Real slick. Perhaps a bit pricey, but this little thing works like a champ.

If I can provide any additional information or assistance just let me know. Be glad to help.

(BTW, I'm in no way connected to this company, just real pleased with their products) http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
