Hello everyone,

I have an Alinco dj195 and I have messed up my service menu settings using the LOCK->490217 code and now i barelly have reception plus my s-meter is no longer provide correct indication.

Can anyone please owner of a DJ195 to tell me their values because I made a serchon the internet and haven't found default values at least for the service menu of this dj195.

For those who are not familiar with the service menu I can provide how to enter in service menu and what values I need from there:

Lock the keypad FUNC->LOCK then type using the keypad 490217. Some dots will apear between digits.
Now enter channels mode and rotate main dial to channel 4 then press Func button and will apear instead of channel number a 2 digits value. Write down that value then press Func again to apear the channel number back. Now rotate main dial to channel 5 and repeat the procedure, also for channel 6.
This are my first concerne because the values I messed up here provides me awfull reception, very weak reception.
In adition I would apreciate if you'll write down the values for channels 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 so I can make my dj195 working again.

There are a total of 17 channes (1-17) in service menu and I hope someone can write down all this values so if someone get this problem again to find the answer easily.

Ah... forgot to mention... after wrote down all the settings values lock the keyboard again and type again the 490217 using your keypad and the dots between digits will disapear meaning that you are out of service menu.

Thanks in advance.

Doru,

Thanks for your answer, unfortunately this action [Func] + [PWR] will not reset to factory default the settins from service menu only those like step, sql, shift, etc. I knew about that because it's in the manual but i didn't mention it as far as I know it's not a solution.

It's a matter of willing to write down those values as mentioned in the first post. Hopefully someone will be able and willing to provide the values.

Thank you very much

Hello.

It took ma a while to check on this.
I had 2 people write down the settings from the 2 radios.
The settings are way off from each other, nearly night and day.
Not interchangable.
So, you are going to need to put the radio in service mode and with a VTVM and service monitor set everything as par the service manual.
The good news is that this is not very hard to do.
