VK/CW

Would like to QSO a VK on CW. I've tried several times to sked VK, but only got SSB. I'm set up to operate SSB, but I greatly prefer CW. I can't set you up, but listen 80m 40m 30m 20m in the AM at and after sunrise. I usually hear a few VK's on CW then. That is our best time frame for that part of the world.

If you are looking for JAs, try this weekend for the Japan International DX Contest (JIDX). #The CW portion is from 0700Z Apr 14-1300Z Apr 15. #I got quite a few the past few years.

Oops, sorry again. The dates I posted above for the JIDX contest are correct.

I had only worked one JA until a few years ago then in one fell swoop I worked a bunch of JAs in the contest. Signals at my QTH are not great but they are easy to work in condx are good.

My favorite areas of the world to work are VK/ZLs and JAs.

KB9BIT: Signals from that area of the world are very weak here also, that is my weakest area of the world.
And I agree completely: I love QSOing Oceania, I newest being N8S on 17 yesterday. Good DX! 73, Brennen

I ended up with 11 new JA stations during the contest. #Although I was not actively participating in the contest there were quite a few good JA signals to choose from. #I got 4 on 40m CW and 7 on 20 CW. #I hope you were able to snag a few.
