QSSTV

I'm slowly but surely knocking off my Ham Radio Windows dependency. I've got decent logging and multi-mode digital software installed and have been trying to get QSSTV installed and configured correctly.

No joy yet. I'm not getting any audio into the program.
The sound system works great with fldigi and every other program I run except QSSTV. It's really going to rankle my hide if I have to boot windows to run SSTV.

The OS is Kubuntu 6.10 running the 2.6.17 kernel.

I have not had much luck with QSSTV, Same issue no audio. But I have two sound cards one for the system and a dedicated card for Ham software. I find MMSSTV and echolink run great in wine...

I've had problems getting QSSTV to work. It worked on one machine under Fedora 3, (qsstv 5.2 or 5.3) but the machine died. On my current machine, I've got the audio working, but the sound card seems to be out of QSSTV's calibration range (ie, can't get a straight picture.

Presently trying to get MMSSTV working under wine, but having problems with wine. Plus qsstv only xmits in Martin 1 (tho more modes are coming in qsstv 7.0 I've heard).
