This past week Scott had posted a Yaesu FT-100D in mint condition for sale. He asked for $700 not including shipping/handling. I emailed asking if he would accept $700 shipped and he agreed.

I transfered him the money via paypal, and on Monday morning he had FEDEX pick up the package and ship it. I received the package safe and sound by 11am Wednesday. It was very well packaged double-boxed with plenty of shock-absorbing material.

AS ADVERTISED, the RIG is truely in MINT condition, no scratches, marks or anything on it. The radio powers on, and receives just as expected. Transmit fine on VHF (waiting on the tuner from universal-radio to put it on HF) but so far everything has been as advertised. Each time I emailed him he had responded back.

Let this message be known to reflect Scott Zastoupil as a seller of integrity.

Thanks for the great radio Scott...

Thanks for the feedback Jimmy. It sounds like the radio will have a good home.

Thanks for the quick payment and for your patience when I was able to get back to you during the day.

Just a quick followup. I received my Yaesu FT-20 autotuner and power supply from universal-radio (great people) a day or two after my original post and have been tearing up HF with the rig.

I've been talking all over, Belgium, Costa Rica, Canada, talked to a man in Lancaster CA mobile on 20 meter this morning. I've had no problems operating in any of the HF bands. I'm relieved to know that this radio was not one of the ones that some hams bought that were problematic.

Again Thanks Scott, the radio is surely being well used. It will be going on-air this Field Day as the 2/6 meter station. My Kenwood TS-450 will be the GOTA station for MDXA.ORG I've had good feedback on audio quality.
