LOL ! i have been on VHF 2 meters repeater ever since i got my licence last year. LOL! i am bored of it . i recently got a HF receiver, now looking for a TX to go with it . hopefully i will go vintage and get a heathkit DX series or build one .is the ramsey transmitter any good in performance ? any body tried it ?

is the connector problem done with? or giving cheap mean that i do like hundred bucks of repairing. LOL! # also does it have tubes in it? #(just curious) . its not a hundred percent final .

It is the best rig i have ever used.
The DSP is sweet. I was able to pull Croatia out of the noise on 17 meters SSB with the DSP feature.
He was 9A2YM, Steve out of Croatia.
Then the band changed and he went up to 57
