The old "lost money order" scam. I guess it happens to most people he deals with, that lousy post office!
Why would this guy be allowed to post anything for sale, here or anywhere else?

Watch out for this guy, Old Floyd's a real scammer!
I purchased an MFJ 936 differential tuner from old Floyd. The unit was poorly packaged and the case was dented. Fired her up and she smoked.
Old Floyd removed him self from Ebay and will not answer Emails.
Gives Hams a bad name!!!!!

I HOPE everyone is Getting this:
~ a guy (could be any guy but...) has been accused of commiting fraud on EBAY.
~ EBAY has been formally & properly informed of this fraud and one of their personnel told the seller to make it right with the first buyer.
~ The seller relisted the same item, (probably has not fixed the unit since the first sale & return), and now has resold the item a second time to another buyer.
~ EBAY is apparently aware of this since they track ALL the activities of all users, buyers & sellers.
~ Perhaps (or not) the seller will now send the amount due to the first buyer, as promised, guess we'll see...
MY point:
~ EBAY KNEW they had a case of fraud, or at the very least, a serious dispute between this seller & his first buyer, and the items not being represented as advertised.
~ AND they have apparently ALLOWED this FRAUD to go on, unchecked and not prevented.
I have been clamoring for a couple years (sorry about that!) about EBAY being an occasional fraud site (remembering that MILLIONS of Ebay transactions occur, so that in reality there have to be a LOT of fraud cases) -- and that we as hams should not be posting "EBAY ONLY" type ads on ANY ham swap page, and should be advising our fellow hams to not do the same.
If we want to sell our items here, or even mention the fact we have them available on Ebay as well, let's POST THEM AS AVAILABLE HERE TOO.
AND -- the above story IS applicable now to our ham swap pages -- a ham company or individual has been accused of fraud. And one of these days, it will reflect on the rest of us, and upon these ham swap pages as well (QRZ, EHAM, QTH, etc).
All you who do EBAY, take note.
EBAY allows frauds to take place, sometimes unhindered and on-going time after time.

Why don't you tell your side of the story.
Or if the complainant is correct and you owe him a full refund, including shipping and any other charges, send him his refund, and at least "make it right.
It can't hurt your image at this point.
And it would seem to be the right thing to do.

Floyd is a carny.He works his scams all day everyday on the midways of carnivals back east and I here in Texas when he goes there as well.Its is in his blood(or lack of) and he has raised this carny attitude to a "PRO STATUS" ! He just keeps sucking them in and them taking who ever for what ever he feels he can get away with !!
You can see from some(or MOST) of his replies that he has a VERY deep seated mental issue it seems.
As I have said this has been going on for a VERY long time and I just try to keep it in the fore front to try to help stop him from doing this to more people !
I have been advised that he is or has been selling his JUNK on eHam.com . SO please make note of this as well and save yourself the the probability of having to deal with this mentally unstable person! "JUST BEWARE" and please help pass the word !

Floyd is back. He is doing business on ebay through his mother's id: paulajowolfe.
Changed his name again on ebay today. Now Floyd is going by: tenngiftemporium.
Plenty of his ham equipment for sale. Asking for payment with money orders.
