Hello all,
Can anyone help with a recommendation for a Ham in this area? This may be a little different kind of request. I'm trying to get my Yaesu station back up fully on the air after a 4 year QRT. Right now I'm just working off an inverted vee antenna.

I have the chance to get a nice 4-band yagi back up on my tower, but it is in New York and I'm in south Florida. What I was hoping to find is someone that would be willing to pick up the antenna from Smithtown (Long
Island), box it up and ship to me here (for a fee of course). I'll send you the box, tape and shipping lable to make the job easier.

It is already broken down and ready to leave the current QTH but the present owner is unwilling/able to get it to FedEx for shipping. So what do you all think. Anyone up there in the New York area that can help out this antenna deficient Ham in Florida?

You can let me know direct, if you prefer: jerryp49 at att dot net

Thanks much,
Jerry

Here's another idea for anyone that might be able to help out with this transfer:
I will be happy to send the person that can pick up
the antenna for me, all necessary packaging material for the antenna.

IN ADDITION, I'll be able to send you a pre-printed, pre-paid FedEx shipping label as well as a call tag that will allow the FedEx driver to pick-up the package directly from your home or business location. Of course it will be my pleasure to reward the person that can make this happen (you name it!)
Can't make it much easier than that!

So how 'bout it. Is there some good natured ham up there in the New York, Long Island area that can help out this antenna grieving Ham here in South Florida?

Please give me a shout: jerryp49 at att dot net or reply here in the forum.
Thanks much,
Jerry
