Split Rock Lighthouse QRV
Split Rock Lighthouse (USA 783) will be on the air as KØARF for the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend August 17, 2002. We'll have three stations, two HF and one VHF/Satelite, modes will vary (ssb, cw, digital). Hours of operation are limited to 1400z to 2400z August 17. We'll be on frequencies suggested by the Amateur Radio lighthouse Society, check their web site (http://www.waterw.com/~weidner/arlhs/index.html).
Split Rock is 40 miles NW of Duluth, MN - grid square EN47. For certificate send SASE to KØARF, 3001 - 8 St. N., Saint Cloud, MN 56303.
