ptt activated relay

Can anyone please help me with some circuits of ptt activated 12v dc relays.I have a standard c58 2m rig which I need the ptt on it to activate a 12v dc relay

If thts a mobile rig. just tap the ptt switch line from the mic or its connector..

if its an Ht . good luck, you would likely need to put a small mono audio jack in the case some where to bring the ptt line out and likley gound also.

I guess the 'why' would help to figure out the 'how'
