The following is an email I received a few years ago from Chuck K3FT(SK). He may have posted it on QRZ at the time.

I think this is a good time to remember what Ham Radio is really about;

From Chuck:

Put another log on the campfire.

Bravo indeed. Chuck was a class act all the way. Boy, is he sure missed on here. His advice, however is still great advice. Thanks for posting this.

TU, Frankie. I miss ol' Kilowatt Three Fried Tomatoes!

I know I miss Chuck. It will be my eternal regret that I had planned a get together with Chuck and Charlie Chickenbander and it just didn't happen in time.

First class were his commercial phone and telegraph tickets. The man himself was more than that. I'm sure I speak for all here who knew him when I say Chuck's words of wisdom will remain relevent for many years to come.

Didn't know him that well, but we swapped PMs a few times.

I never knew him, but this piece is priceless, and I thank you for sharing it with us...

It reminds me of an Elmer of mine who's now SK (and someone else has his last callsign nowadays)... K4YC, Charlie McCook... that ol' boy had the true spirit of ham radio, and I hope I picked up a little bit from him, too.

You wanted an argument? I'm sorry, this thread is for conversations. The argument thread is three levels up.

Huuuuh? It is a play on words. "You will get no argument from me" means that a person agrees with the point presented.
