Can't understand it!

I can't understand it to save my life. Back in February of this year, I let a fellow ham have a radio on credit. He never paid me. He also ripped some other hams off. He is supposed to be an upstanding member of the big local radio club. He even runs some of the club's nets. I went to the club's web site and got on their message board to warn other hams about this guy. The club comes down on me and accuses me of attacking this guy's character, and they bar me permanently from their message board. Go figure!

YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE ANYTHING AWAY, UNLESS YOU DID NOT NEED IT. ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WITNESSES.
The Club can get involved by asking you not to post anything derrogatory, They would not want to be sued by this person. If you are right or wrong, a court of law is where this is to be taken up, not on a discussion board. I am sympathetic to your situation, but you have to think of the club's legal position. You can post all you want on your own site though, Just be prepared for the legal battles later. this is still america , and real anericans do not put up with this kind of attitude from clubs or persons,if this club condones such actions of its members then this club has given up it right to be an american club and has joined the communist club, there they can steal each others radios all they want and be happy ,i like judge roy beans attitude ( "we hang thiefs") , this is my personal opinion on thiefs:angry:
