Well, I've been semi officially invited to become a WD2XSH/something 500kc station some time in the fall. If I am accepted, I will be one of only two stations on the West Coast (I guess they do consider Alaska the west coast!) Wish me the best, as this is not a done deal. I still need to be inspected, selected, injected, but hopefully not rejected.
This is a great project, what amateur radio is all about, IMHO.

So basically it will be a new top band?Who else is there ?vlf is below that right?I saw that antenna farm up there Like a gillion ants dont remember its name ?There was a story abt that that some guys were sent out to explore islands that would be suitable to that particular resonance.
