Uniden HR-2510

Hi All,

Yes, I know the F.C.C. has declared the Uniden President #HR-2510 an illegal #ham rig. #But, all the same,
I'm LQ^Qking for a used on in good shape. #

I had two last cycle, UNMODIFIED, and they worked xtremely well for me in my quest for 10-10 numbers, rag-chewing and listening for band openings. #They were the ONLY HF rigs I had at the time. #I have since given them away to two other ham friends to use on 10 as I now have my Icom 706MkII-G, but want another one to use in the daughter's Camry, I drive at times when she needs the pick-up. # http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

She is a full-time MOM and LPN, but has no interest in Ham radio. #However, my 13 year old grandson DOES, LOL! #I'm bringing him along to BE a HAM.

Why not an HTX-10 ? Several on Ebay today . 10 meters only .

I already have a dedicated R$ HTX-10 in the house, strickly for 10 FM work. I sometimes take the Icom 706MkII-G in from the F-150XL, if I want to work another HF band. I wanted the 2510 to put in her Camray as I KNOW how good the 2510 is. I worked a TON of stations on it last cycle and I don't know how well the HTX-10 will perform, as yet.
