I have had two of these antennas. The first was up over 10-15 years and worked quite well, until I experienced an intermittent trap (15 meter) arcing issue. I was in the process of moving, so didn't bother working on it. I did order a trap (ouch...what a poke in the eye on that pricely item!http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif.
I bought a new one at the new location because for the performance, I like the foot print. I had an SWR problem, but never did get any info from Cushcraft's website. Found out later that the balun I used, the pigtails connecting the balun to the driven element were too long, detuning the driving element. I resolved it on my own.
Overall, the antenna is a good performer, but their customer service is zilch. Never did get any assistance, responses. I think the antenna could be improved as the arcing trap issue is one Cushcraft has had in the design for over 20 plus years.
I like my antenna, easy to erect and assemble. But, customer service is nonexistent.
