I'm Trying To Get In Touch With My Inner Neo-Con

It seems that my inner-Neo-Con is suffering from being ignored. He hates that. In fact, I've ignored him so much, he's dying from malnutrition. He's making himself known by trying to say that I'm victimizing him. I'm trying to reach out, to bridge the gap, to stay the course, to not cut and not run, to move forward - in a word or more.

Is a Neo-Con a way of thinking? Is it a way of life? Is it just a thing to talk about when riding on a bus with a stranger? (Hi, I'm John. I'm a Neo-Con. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif)

What's the first step? What is the best way to get in touch with that deeply repressed urge to Neo-Con myself? Are there any real advantages to this? If I move to a Red State, I'll want to fit in and do the Rightie thing. So, this is not just an excercise in self-indulgence.

Alright, I'm open to suggestions. Does anybody know what to do?

We are always right so become familiar with and embrace supporting concepts like the end justifies the means. (Torture, wiretapping).

First I think you have to inherit a bunch of money then you automatically become a republican.

Next step it to do a web search on the neo-con white paper, down load it and read it. Since you are now a republican you will be able to condone what the paper outlines and KNOW that it is best for the country.

Naturally after the republican find out you have a bunch of ready cash they will send you the GOP play book with all the catchy phrased need to put down those godlostcommipinkofaglibs with.

A lifetime supply of Kool-Aid will also be shipped to your door. {well, lifetime unless you manage to somehow become broke again. The loss of your fortune will automatically transform you back to being a lib/democrat again.} people will come around to teach you how to lockstep with W, at and additional fee of course which you will willingly pay.

1) Already do all of that daily (sooner on really hot days).

2) The local burgermeister (Mayor Bloomberg ®) is anti gun. Probably a good idea in a metro area of about 18 million.

3) Don't have any kids. I have a cat though.

4) I do contribute, but sometimes complaining is a good form of democratic expression.

FRF My inner-Neo-Con says the Kool-Aid is the only reason he's even alive. He also says, that if I discontinue the Kool-Aid, I'll have to apply the the Rush Limbaugh Emergency OxyContin Program for Neo-Cons. It's either that or the Inner Neo-con dries up and dies completely.
