Who all is going to Dayton this year for the Hamvention? I'll be there and maybe we all can have a big eyeball QSO? I'd love to meet some of the other hams that helped me along on here. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
I might be there, not sure yet. Luckily I have relatives who live about 20 miles from the arena in case I can make it.
We'll be there - possibly for the QRP banquet on Thursday evening, but definitely on Friday and Saturday.
If Mark, WZ4I reads this: Offer from last year still stands - first round's on me.

Most probably the Econolodge not too far from the Indiana border. Yes, it's a little 'west' of the event, but the joint is fairly quiet...

I'm going to Huntsville and I will try to make Dayton. No worries about hotel rooms, I got a 30 foot fifth-wheel RV with all the bells and whistles for Christmas. The XYL and Santa Claus were berry berry good to me!

I might go or I might not I have been their for the last 4 yrs iam getting Dayton burn out
I sure hope Dayton picks up this year. I had missed 2005 after making all but one since '99. I was disappointed with the '06 edition. The flea market was a shadow of its former self of just a few years earlier. It seemed like a lot of the spots were simply used for parking as nothing was being sold out of them. A lot of spots were empty both Friday and Saturday.
Inside wasn't much better with areas formerly taken by vendors now occupied by tables and chairs. Not that I minded all that much as it made picking a rest spot easier than having to go the food court or main arena each time.
I hope Dayton isn't dying. Perhaps it has fluctuations like everything else. I'm sure the gas prices of last spring didn't help matter any either. I'm not sure when I'll go back. I'm passing on this year for sure.
I'll be there this year. If y'alls wants to meet up send me a PM. Maybe we can have a meetup frequency.

Sadly, I think the flea market will die off.
The cost of gasoline, plus the ebay effect is killing it for sure.

Small portions?? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
I will be there. You can't miss me. I will be the guy wearing a baseball cap with my callsign on it.
OK, I will narrow it down even more. I won't have an HT on my belt or in my shirt pocket and I won't be wearing a Bluetooth earpiece.

I think we should have a QRZ.com 100+ posts dinner!
Maybe we should have a QRZ.com unofficial dinner?
