Oxy is one drug that shouldn't even be on the market, it's more dangerous than Heroin.

Oxy is one drug that shouldn't even be on the market, it's more dangerous than Heroin.
Haha, what? There's nothing more addictive about oxycontin than any other NARCOTIC when used correctly. It is abused because it contains a large dosage of oxycodone than non time released products.

In other words, it's only dangerous if you ABUSE it! You have to crush it up in order to disarm the time release function (http://www.stopaddiction.com/narconon_drugs_oxycontin.html#). For those who are in pain and use the drug properly the time release property provides needed relief.

Make all the excuses you want for fat boy, but excuses won't make him any less of a hypocrite.

So what is wrong with nameing a Court House for some one who used a drug to relieve pain.I would be willing to bet the Democratic Medication Bill will have some (or is that Many) pain killers listed.After all we have two Holidays that celebrate Socialist's, and I don't see any one boycotting the holidays and going to work.

Which would you prefer,some one using a drug to relieve his pain OR having Socialists running the country .Come to think of it I would not want to hear the answer to that .

But Liberals have to have some thing to bitch about or their day gets all screwed up. I am sure Rush appreciates the 30 % of his audience who are Liberal/Socialists.And who dare say the Democrats don't have an idea of what is going on !! They it turns out are as up to date as Rush is !!

Yeah UEY but Limbaugh used drugs ILLEGALLY to releive pain. "Oxycontin is supposed to be prescribed for a patient and is not to be transfered to anyone other than the patient to which is was prescribed".
But Rush obtained it WITHOUT a prescription while at the same time CONDEMNING others who obtained drugs without a prescription.

Hey, I don't think ANYONE should go to jail merely for possession or use of a drug. But, ain't Limbaugh a buit of a hypocrite, eh ?? UEY ??

And so, every Vietnam Veteran who was or is a heroin addict on the streets of New York and/or any other town or city, I implore you. You did it for your pain. And indeed you did have pain. Yes, indeed it was ENTERTAINMENT! He did not have a proper prescription. If he was in pain then he should have seen a doctor. If his need was legitimate then he would have been given a prescription.

The only FACTS are that lard-butt was a DRUG ABUSER no different than any other DRUG ABUSER.

You can't have it both ways. Either people ARE qualified to self medicate or they are not.

What is interesting is that the ACLU came to Limbaugh's assistance on this one. I doubt Rush's hearing problem was caused by the drugs he was using. Oxycontin is an opiate and if it causes deafness then every single heroin addict or long term pain patient should be totally deaf. While it is true that Limbaugh got the drugs illegally I personally don't care. He was using the drugs for personal use in his own home and he was bothering nobody. On that level i don't think self medication should even be a crime. However, what I don't like is Limbaugh's hypocrisy. he condemned the heck out of others who have used drugs but he didn't like it when the heat was put on himself.
