Sounds great. Wish something like that would happen around here for a change. You are indeed a lucky man. Round here all we ever get is wimp weather.

It is exactly -25F here at the home QTH in Wasilla right now. Thankfully, the wind is calm.

either way it's still chilly ray-ay-nos.
Prediction today is for 72 F where I am now. I'm planning to bar-b-que some pork chops over pecan wood tomorrow. Why don't you stop by? My refer is filled with a beer assortment that resembles a ship loaded with ballast.

They are predicting a low of 25 with a high of 44 around here in California.
In the Central Valley, thats like......bad. The crying is already beginning on some of the news channels, talking about the impending big chill.
Funny thing is, I remember living at my parents house in Northern California at 3500' and staying home from school for 2 days because the temp was 20 below with a windchill lower, and the old oil-fired heaters at the school couldn't get the classrooms up above 20 degrees, so they cancelled classes.
We'll see if it gets that cold. We've been touching 32 for a low the past few days, so its possible I suppose.
Hey, I'd rather hear crying about the weather anyway. It would be a change of pace here on the 'Zed.

The extreme northern part of your state has been getting blasted with bitter cold. Barrow AK has been consitantly around -25 or lower all week. Guess some of that frigid air blew down your way. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

2006 was the warmest year on record in Minnesota, and 2007 is continuing the trend. If this keeps up, too many people will decide to move here.
Our lowest low the next three days is supposed to be 10 degrees F, above 0 , tonight. We see a lot of -30 this time of year, but not recently. The record since I've been here was -40 in Rochester one day 10 years ago. The wind chill was -100. It was a lot warmer in Anchorage that day.

Tomorrow the high is supposed to be in the mid 70s (F) with a good chance of rain in the afternoon and evening. It's supposed to rain all day Thursday and perhaps we'll be getting a little snow in the city at the higher elevations Friday night...I think I'll stay home and declair a Tucsonian Snow Day http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I'm flying up tomorrow. It is a never-ending job to go to the most remote place in the USA and get go-juice for the crazy Californians. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

So, what happened to global warming? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Got a new (new to us) snowplow/sander truck for the little city here. I only got to use it once this year so far....:( Been a real mild winter here in Southeast Idaho this year.
The wind was blowing here also, but 84 degrees F.
