There are always chemical clouds in/around Houston. Houston is a huge chemical and oil center, after all. So this is a normal occurrence.

Thare seems to be lots on noxious gasses around these days. There's a big stink in the Big Apple. Perhaps its the city's 5 billion 'roaches farting in unison in a protest about bad housing conditions.

I think in NYC the problem was traced to someone having pulled the large copper finger of Miss Liberty.

Quote[/b] ] Also on Monday, people in homes and schools in Sugar Land, Texas, near Houston were asked to stay inside temporarily with their windows closed after a leaking tanker truck spewed a chemical cloud into the sky, officials said.

The cloud of ethylene diamine could be seen hovering over several square miles before it dispersed into the atmosphere.

A Sugar Land spokesman said he had not been told of any injuries from the chemical, which is used in oilfield products and can burn skin and lungs.
