I went into the hidden menu to attempt to change my MAX DEV and didnt
copy down my original settings. I think I may have changed something
and screwed up the radio. All i get is static when I attempt to
transmit. If anybody can go into this secret setting and give me the
factory codes for the radio....I would appreciate it. This is a USA
radio. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
To get into this menu...
1. With the radio in VFO mode, turn it off.
2. Now this is a little tricky but with 3 fingers it can be done.
Press
the "MON F", "Wires" key (the one at the far corner of the key pad)
and
the "0" key.
3. While continuing to hold down the 3 buttons, power up the radio.
Hold them down until the radio has displayed the greeting screen and
gone through a series of beeps and tones.
My current settings are as follows:
PLL REF 220
HIS SQL 0
THLD SQL 170
TIGH SQL 128
S1 LEVEL 61
S9 LEVEL 68
S1 LEVEL 62
S9 LEVEL 84
HI POWER 208
L3 POWER 157
L2 POWER 116
L1 POWER 60
MAX DEV 50
TN 67.0 52
TN 123.0 20
TN 254.1 22
DC2 DEV 12
